About WCLL Softball
Since 1963, Walnut Creek Little League has been more than just a place to play ball -- it’s been a community tradition where kids grow as athletes, teammates, and leaders.
As a chartered member of Little League International and proud part of District 4, our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment where children can learn softball, build confidence, and discover that they can do hard things, all while taking pride in their personal growth.
Little League’s core belief is that character, courage, and loyalty matter just as much as hits, runs, and outs. We take that to heart in every division, from our youngest players on up. Our goal goes beyond wins and losses. We hope that when players look back on their childhood, softball will stand out as one of their fondest memories.
Learning doesn't stop at the dugout. Programs like our youth umpire initiative give older players a chance to take on leadership roles, strengthen their sense of responsibility, and see the game from a new perspective.
Each year, thanks to the incredible support of our community, we’re able to offer programs for hundreds of kids across baseball and softball. Whether your player is picking up a glove for the first time or returning to sharpen their skills, there’s a place for them here. We are powered entirely by volunteers: Every coach, board member, and field helper is here because they choose to give their time. When you sign up your player, you also join that tradition of volunteer spirit that keeps our league thriving.
Join us this season and be part of something bigger than the game.
